Barbados 616 m² Light and Heavy Steel Structure Project

Construction is ongoing on the 616 m² steel structure project being carried out by Karınca Prefabrik Çelik Yapı A.Ş. in Barbados. The project is being built as a two-story structure that combines light steel and heavy steel building systems.

Heavy steel members are used in the building's main load-bearing sections, while light steel profiles are used for the walls, facade and complementary sections. Using these two systems together creates a durable and functional building solution tailored to the structure's requirements.

With the steel structure assembly largely complete, work on the exterior cladding, window and door joinery and other finishing applications is ongoing. Production and site work are being carried out in a controlled manner in line with the project plan.

This project in Barbados reflects Karınca Prefabrik's ability to apply different building systems within the same project, as well as its international experience in steel structures.
